TROUBLE
POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTIONS
Vibrations.
Check that the winecooler is on a stable surface.
The winecooler seems to be
making too much noise.
The winecooler is not on a stable surface or one of the legs is not properly
adjusted.
Bubbling and gurgling sound: This noise is emitted when the refrigerant
flows through the pipes of the system. This is normal.
Flowing water sound: This is the normal sound of water flowing into the
drain channel during the defrosting process.
If the winecooler is noisy (compressor noise): This is normal. This noise
indicates that the compressor is working normally. When the compressor
is turned on, it runs and is a bit louder for a short period.
The door will not open.
If the door has just been opened, leave it for a few minutes to allow the air
pressure to equalize before trying again.
The door does not close
properly.
The winecooler is not level.
Shelves are not properly positioned and block the door from closing.
There is water under the
unit.
Water is incorrectly collecting in the water reservoir at the rear of the
unit.
Check that the water tank is in place.
Empty the water tank.
Moisture forms on the
internal or external walls of
the winecooler
Hot, humid weather increases the internal degree of frost buildup. This
is normal.
Open the door less often and make sure it is always securely closed.
Smells
Make sure all food and beverages in the winecooler are up to date and
properly packaged. If not, it should be removed immediately or repack-
aged.
Check for spills on each shelf, rack, and drawer. It may be necessary to
remove the drawers to check that no spillage has been found under them.
Spills that have not been cleaned up and remain can cause unwanted
odors.
