Problem

Print not starting.
Temperatures are
not reaching desired
levels.
Preferably set the temperatures as soon as possible
to reduce the waiting time with the material ready.
If changing the set temperature to the actual
temperature, the printing will start right away.
Printer is not
calibrated.
Perform a machine calibration: manual or automatic.
Corning® DNA Studio issues.
Corning DNA Studio
cannot find the
printer.
Make sure the printer is properly connected to the computer via the supplied USB cable
and that the printer is turned on.
Autocalibration,
bioprinting, or
biodispensing
doesn’t start.
Disable printing from SD card mode in utilities tab in the Corning Matribot® Bioprinter’s
LCD interface.
Other issues with
Corning DNA Studio.
Run Corning DNA Studio as Administrator.
Nozzle insulator detached.
Insulator is not
attached properly.
Attach the thermal insulator to the cooling
block, by inserting it from below and rotating
counterclockwise.
Syringe is not
connected properly.
Rotate the syringe plunger holder arm over
the plunger. and twist the syringe by the tabs
counterclockwise
to ensure it is locked in place.
Automatic calibration is not
accurate.
Nozzle is too close to
the surface.
Increase the z-offset.
Printbed is tilting.
Perform Automatic bed-leveling, or adjust the
screws on the bed to level it.
