• Use the battery only for the specific application.
• Only clean the battery with a slightly damp cloth. Disconnect the mains plug before you start
cleaning!
• Never clean the battery in a car wash or with a high-pressure cleaner. Dam-age to the device
cannot be ruled out. Take care not to damage the connecting cable during cleaning.
Maintenance of the upholstery
• ATTENTION: At regular intervals, pat the upholstery (armrest, backrest and seat cushions) vigo-
rously with your flat hand to keep it in shape permanently.
Safety instructions
• Do not open the battery yourself. Repair or replacement only by qualified personnel and only
with original spare parts.
• Do not expose the battery to excessive heat or open fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not operate the device on an easily combustible surface (such as paper, etc.) or in a highly
flammable environment. There is a risk of fire due to the charger heating up during charging.
• Only use the battery for its originally intended purpose.
• Keep the battery out of the reach of children. Supervise children or persons who are unable to
understand the proper handling of the battery unit and its hazards due to lack of physical, sen-
sory or mental abilities.
• If the batteries are leaking and you come into contact with the leaking fluid, wash off the liquid
thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
• Dispose of the batteries in accordance with the legal regulations for used batteries and recharge-
able batteries; these must not be disposed of with household waste.
10 Decommissioning
When the chair is taken out of operation, it must be disconnected from the mains supply and the
remaining energy or stored energy must be dissipated.
11 Disposal
Separate the components according to recyclable materials and dispose of them in an
environmentally friendly manner in accordance with state law.
