Warning of crushing hazard!
When shipping the chair, it must be lifted and transported. The chair may tip over
and fall as a result of improper lifting or transportation.
At least two people are required to lift the chair.
Wear safety shoes when transporting the chair!
Transport using industrial trucks:
If a hand pallet truck or forklift truck is used for loading or unloading, it must be suitable for the
loads and in perfect working order. The centre of gravity of the transported goods must always be
observed!
During transport, the load must be evenly distributed and the components properly secured. Avoid
jerky movements.
5.2 Assembly and installation
For the proper and safe installation of the chair, it is absolutely necessary that a level installation
surface and sufficient load-bearing capacity are available to ensure the stability of the chair.
The instructions described here are to be seen as minimum recommendations. Depending on the
operating conditions, additions may be necessary to maintain the quality of the chair.
For repair work in special fields (electrical engineering, etc.), only specialists trained in the respec-
tive field may be employed.
Observe the following safety instructions!
6 Initial operation
Damage to property or consequential damage may be caused to the chair by
improper installation. The following applies prior to commissioning:
• Check all screw and plug connections for tightness.
• Close all the covers.
• Check the chair for functionality.
