In order to detect possible malfunctions, remove the seat cushion as follows and expose the plug
connections:
Open the zipper on the back, seat shell and
cushion.
Place the cushion on a clean and dry surface.
There are three pockets on the inside of the
chair shell
1) Pocket for the control unit
2) Pocket for connecting cable
3) Pocket for the battery
8 Troubleshooting
8.1 Checking the battery and the plug connection
1) To check the battery, open the zipper on
pocket 3 and carefully pull out the battery.
2) Press the button on the battery. The current
charging status is displayed on the illuminated
scale.
If all bars light up, the battery is fully charged.
If no bar lights up, the battery is empty and
must be charged as described in chapter 6
„Initial operation“.
3) An empty battery is additionally indicated by
an acoustic warning signal (beep sound).
4) Check the connectors on the battery. The cable
must be properly engaged.
5) Check the cable for a possible cable break.
6) Carefully reinsert the battery into pocket 3 and close the zipper.
