For the safe operation of the chair, the documentation of the following subsystems of the various
manufacturers must be observed!

• Linak linear actuator LA 23
2 General
Warning!
The chair must only be used in accordance with its intended use and in a techni-
cally safe condition!
The operational safety of the chair is only guaranteed if it is used as intended!
Warnung!
Misuse may result in hazards!
The following situations in particular are regarded as foreseeable misuse:
• Persons may manipulate protective systems.
• Persons may stand or sit on the chair.
• People may sit on the armrest instead of the seat.
The Cordia Lounge Chair is designed exclusively for sitting indoors. The maximum loadbearing
capacity is 130 kg. The position of the chair is electronically adjustable and can be moved from
the position of the standing-up aid to the reclining function. The loading capacity is sufficient for
approx. 80 to 100 applications, depending on the load, time of use and person weight.
Any other use or use that goes beyond this is regarded as misuse and is not as intended. The
manufacturer is not liable for any resulting damage; the user alone bears the risk.
In the event of unauthorised modifications to the system, product liability and the manufacturer‘s
liability for any damage resulting therefrom shall lapse.
• In these chairs a gas pressure spring is always installed in the tilting mechanism.
• Work on the gas pressure spring may only be carried out by trained personnel.
• ATTENTION: The gas pressure spring must not be heated as it is under high pressure.
