2.3 LAN Configuration
The modem is configured via internal web pages.
For Windows XP users:
1. Choose
Start
-->
Control Panel
-->
Network Connections
.
2. Right-click Local Area Connection and click
Properties
.
3. Click
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click
Properties
.
4. On the
General
tab, select the options “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address
automatically.”
5. Click
OK
to complete the TCP/IP configuration.
For Windows 7 users:
1. Choose
Start
-->
Control Panel
-->
Network and Sharing Center
.
2. Select
Change Adapter Setting
.
3. Right-click Local Area Connection, click
Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
and click
Properties
.
4. On the
General
tab, select the options “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address
automatically.”
5. Click
OK
to complete TCP/IP configuration.
