• Uninstalling the camera driver

There are two tasks that need to be done to uninstall the movi driver.  Firstly, remove the device  from the

Operating System through the Device Manager.  To do this:

1.  With the TCG 201  camera connected, open the System Control Panel and go to the Device Manager.

2.   Remove TCG 201  Camera (still) and TCG 201  Camera (video) devices from the “Imaging devices” list.

3.   Remove TCG 201  camera from “Universal Serial Bus controllers” list.

4.   Close Device Manager.

5.   Unplug the camera.

6.   Restart your computer.

7.   After the restart you will need to delete the driver files. The location of files to be deleted is operating

system dependent:

• For Win98 SE, and Win Me, <windowsdirectory> = C:\Windows

• For Win2K, <windows> = C:\WINNT

8.   On Win98/Me systems Delete all Cool*.inf files from the <windowsdirectory>\inf\ and <windows>\inf\

other directory.

On Win2k the files will be named oemn.inf and oemn.pnf, located in <windows>\inf.  Value of n varies

from PC to PC. You may need to open the oemn.inf files in a text editor to see if they are related to the

TCG 201 Camera.

9.   Delete  the  following  from  the  <windows>\System\  on  Win98  and  Me,  or  the  <windows>\system32

directory on Win2k:

• aoxdxipl.ax, AoxSTIAp.exe, aoxusd.dll, epavisrc.ax, epwavdst.ax, and hydxisp.ax

10. Delete the following from the <windows>\system32\drivers directory:

• aox402sc.sys, aox402vc.sys, and ep_camd.sys

11. Delete the entire \Cooli folder from  <windows>\twain_32

12. Reboot the machine.

13. Now open the Control Panels>Add/Remove Programs.

14. Select “TCG 201 Camera ” and choose to remove this application.

15. Follow the on screen prompts to complete the removal.

16. Repeat for all driver installer entries that show in the Add/Remove Programs.

You have removed the driver files and associated registry entries.  To reinstall your camera, run the driver

installation setup.exe and then plug the camera into your USB port.

 Notes:

Uninstalling your

My Camera Driver

does not delete your album folders and therefore all images transferred into your default or created albums

will be preserved.
