STA60M and STA70M sensors require an initial configuration to be

performed during start-up. Below is the information to make the

initial settings of both sensors.

STA60M SENSORS

STA60M sensor is a room terminal that allows the user to adjust the

temperature in an environment. It communicates with the Modbus

protocol and can be connected to the NR9001 controller.

Depending on the models, the power supply can be 24 Vac/dc or

230 Vac.

Configuration

STA60M sensor, in order to be connected to the 485 bus of the NR9001

controller, requires a preconfiguration with regard to the communi

-

cation speed and the Modbus address.

Procedure:

1.  Press the FAN and POWER buttons simultane-

ously for 3 sec. to enter the Parameter Menu.

2.

Turn the knob to set the number 22 above the

wording  and  press  the  knob  to  confirm.  The

word “Addr” appears.

3.

Press the knob to confirm the desire to set the

Modbus address.

4.

Turn  the  knob  to  set  the  address  (1  -  9)  and

press the knob to confirm.

5.

Turn the knob to set the value 1 (9600 baud)

and press the knob to confirm.

8.

Turn  the  knob  until  the  word  “esc”  appears

and press the knob to exit the configuration.

Note: the sensor address must be univocal, sequen

-

tial and start from 1.

Clock setting

STA60M sensor has a clock inside which therefore needs to be set.

Procedure:

1.

Press  the  Clock  button  for  3  sec.  The  word

“Cloc” appears.

2.

Press the knob to confirm you want to set the

time. The cursor flashes on the hour.

3.

Turn  the  knob  to  set  the  desired  value  and

press the knob to confirm. The cursor flashes on

the minutes.

4.

Turn  the  knob  to  set  the  desired  value  and

press the knob to confirm. The cursor flashes on

the day of the week.

and press the knob to exit the configuration.

Setting schedules

STA60M sensor has a schedule inside it with the possibility, for each

day, to set a maximum of 6 time bands.

The compilation of the schedule consists of setting the desired Tem-

perature Set for each band.

In addition to the Set there is also the possibility of setting the OFF sta-

tus which for the controller has the meaning of antifreeze protection.

Procedure:

1.

Press the Clock button for 3 sec. The word “Cloc” appears.

2.

Turn the knob until the word “time band” appears.

3.

Press the knob to confirm the intention to set the time programs.
