• The adapter being used to connect your Lumilisse Hair Remover to the wall outlet is
not the one supplied with your unit, is defective, or the unit has reached the end of
its life (after approximately 300,000 fl ashes).
• Check to make sure the adapter you are using is the one that was supplied with the
unit. If the problem persists, contact Conair Customer Service.
9.3 Customer Service
If you still have problems with your Lumilisse Hair Remover, do not return the unit to the
store where you bought it, but call Customer Service at 1-800-3-CONAIR (1-800-326-6247).
If your unit is broken, damaged, needs repair or if you need any assistance, please
contact Conair Customer Service.
Opening your Lumilisse Hair Remover could expose you to dangerous electrical parts
and the energy of the pulsed light, which could cause serious physical injury and/or
irreversible eye injury. Opening your Lumilisse Hair Remover could also damage the unit
and will void the warranty. Please contact Conair Customer Service if your unit is broken
or damaged and requires repair.
Do not attempt to open or repair your Lumilisse Hair

10. Warranty
LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY (U.S. AND CANADA ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace, at our option, your appliance free of charge for 12 months
from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service
center listed above that is nearest you, together with your sales slip and $5.00 for
postage and handling. California residents need only provide proof of purchase and
should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a receipt, the
warranty period shall be 12 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILI TY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 12-MONTH DURATION

1. Is the Lumilisse Hair Remover truly eff ective?
Yes. Clinical tests have proven that the Lumilisse Hair Remover achieves long-lasting
results.
2. On what parts of the body can I use the Lumilisse Hair Remover?
The Lumilisse Hair Remover has been designed for removal of body hair below the
cheekbones. The areas most commonly treated with the Lumilisse Hair Remover are the
legs, underarms, arms, and the bikini line. With the facial attachment, you can also treat
the lower part of the face.
3. How long is a depilation session with the Lumilisse Hair Remover?
See Chapter 5.3 about the approximate duration of the session.
4. Is the Lumilisse Hair Remover safe?
Your safety is our fi rst priority. When we designed the Lumilisse Hair Remover, very strict
standards were followed when testing and approving it for use at home. But as with any
electronic unit that comes in contact with the skin, the user must follow the instructions
and strictly adhere to the safety protocols.
5. Are treatments using the Lumilisse Hair Remover painful?
When used properly, most Lumilisse Hair Remover users report a slight heat sensation
when the unit pulses. Users with darker and thicker hair sense a little more discomfort.
But these sensations ease and disappear at the end of the session.
6. How often should I use the Lumilisse Hair Remover?
The fi rst 4 sessions with the Lumilisse Hair Remover should be 2 weeks apart. The next
sessions should be 4 weeks apart until you achieve the desired results.
7. Is the Lumilisse Hair Remover eff ective on white, gray, or blond hair?
The Lumilisse Hair Remover is most eff ective on dark hair or on those containing more
melanin. Melanin, the pigment that gives color to skin and hair, absorbs optical energy.
Black and dark brown hair respond best to the treatment. Brown and light brown hair
also respond, but these will need a few more sessions. Red hair may respond partially to
the treatment. Generally, white, gray, or blond hair does not respond to the treatment,
but some users have noticed results after several depilation sessions.
8. Can I use the Lumilisse Hair Remover on brown or black skin?
Do not use the Lumilisse Hair Remover on dark skin! The Lumilisse Hair Remover
eliminates hair by targeting the follicular pigment. Pigments are also found in varying
quantities in the surrounding dermal tissues. The quantity of pigments in a person’s
dermis, visible through the color of the skin, defi nes the level of risk to which he or she
is exposed by using the Lumilisse Hair Remover. Treating dark skin with the Lumilisse
Hair Remover may involve risks like burns, blisters and changes in skin color (hyper-
or hypopigmentation). Please consult the table showing the diff erent phototypes and
follow the usage recommendations in this section (Section 5.2 / Page 12).
9. When will I see the fi rst results with the Lumilisse Hair Remover?
Like all other photo-epilation methods, the results are not immediate; you may even
have the impression that nothing is happening. The hair will sometimes appear to
continue growing after a session, but after two weeks, most of this hair will simply fall
