Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result

sources on the fiber are turned off.

Install protective covers or caps over connectors when they are not being used. Always assume that
exposed optical connectors and cables are energized.
Always make an optical power measurement of the fiber or connector before cleaning to ensure the cable
and connector are not energized.
