Laser source output wavelength LEDs 

a.

 

Indicates current output wavelength.  

b.

 

No LEDs lit indicate laser source output is off.

Laser source output wavelength selector key.  LD = Laser Diode

Press to cycle between wavelengths

Power meter input wavelength select key.  PD = Power Diode 

a.

 

Press to cycle between wavelengths: 850, 1300,1310, 1490,1550,1625 nm 

b.

 

This key also functions to delete stored measurements.  When the device is in the “load” 
mode which displays stored measurements, a single push of this button will delete the 
current data file shown on the screen. 

c.

 

To delete ALL data files at once, press and hold for >2 seconds.  The meter must be in 
the load mode where the stored measurements are shown for this function to work.

Load key 

a.

 

Short press to enter “Load” mode. Displays stored measurements 1-999.  Use the up and 
down keys (dBm/db/mW, backlight) to select the desired file to view measurements.  
Note:  This button does not load the stored values.  It is a recall/view function only. 

b.

 

Long press (> 2 Seconds) to save the current power meter measurement and wavelength.  
If the input signal is too “Lo” to measure, no data will be stored.

Twin Mode key 

a.

 

Press to cycle Power Meter between Single and Twin modes 

i.

 

“Single”  on display = Auto wavelength detection off 

ii.

 

“TWIN” on display = Auto wavelength detection on 

6.

 

Laser source output modulation tone LEDs 

a.

 

Indicates current Laser source output modulation tone 

b.

 

No LEDs lit indicates CW mode

CW/Hz Modulation Select 

a.

 

Press to cycle between CW Laser source modulation frequencies
