The
Configure Tab
offers choices on two layers as shown in Figure 15: the
first two commonly used functions followed by additional, less often used
functions.
Because ACCESS has many options to optimize individual connections, it
includes the concept of
Profiles
, which allow you to define the behavior
of a connection in both directions.
Profiles
are separate from the concept
of
Remotes
, which define the address to which to connect. A pre-defined
Profile
can be assigned to multiple
Remotes
(and multiple remotes may
be defined to the same address which can have different profiles).
