17.2.3  Using carrier with metal clip
Note:

 only use the metal clip in combination with connectorized drop cables (hard jacket) with cable diameter range  

4,5 mm - 6,3 mm (0.18”- 0.25”).

17.2.3.1  Slide the carrier into the slots of the organizer. 
17.2.3.2  Remove dust cap. Adapter ports are designated with the numbers 1-6. Clean the connector per standard practice. 

Position the connector in the correct orientation (rib facing forward as shown in image above).
17.2.3.3  Connect the connectorized drop to its assigned port. A clicking sound is observed when the connector is properly 

seated.

17.2.3.4  Mount the metal clip on the carrier. The two slots of the metal clip should be positioned in the two tabs of the 

carrier, then turn the metal clip towards the cable.
17.2.3.5  Push until the two snap hooks snap in the slots of the metal clip.
17.2.3.6  Field Installable Connector drop cables will make a loop before entering the adapter port. Make sure the loop is 

positioned under the connector and dust caps of the other adapters. Make sure correct bend radius is obtained.
