Telephone operation
Making and receiving calls
Select Pulse or Tone mode.
Handset Speakerphone
Making
Calls 1. Pick up handset.
2. Dial desired number.
3. Hang up upon
completion of the call.
1. Press SPEAKER key.
2. Dial telephone
number.
3. To hang up, press
SPEAKER key again.
Receiving
calls 1. Pick up handset.
2. Speak.
3. Hang up upon
completion of the call.
1. Press SPEAKER key.
2. Speak.
3. To hang up, press
SPEAKER key again.
Redial
To redial the last number dialed, simply pick up the handset or press
SPEAKER , then press REDIAL . The telephone will automatically
redial the last number dialed.
Note
: The maximum capacity for last number redial memory is 32
digits.
Speakerphone
To switch a call to speakerphone, press SPEAKER during a call (the
red
SPEAKER
indicator lights), then place the handset on the base.
Also, you can switch a speakerphone call to the handset anytime
during a call by simply picking up the handset.
Ringer volume
To adjust the ringer volume of your telephone, move the RINGER
volume switch, located on the rear panel, to the desired
OFF/LO/HI
position.
Speaker/off-hook alert volume
While on a call, to adjust the speaker volume, slide the
SPEAKER VOL
control switch located on the right side of the unit to
the desired MAX - MIN level. This switch also controls the volume of
the off-hook alert feature. See page 19.
