Making Intercom Calls
There are two methods for making an intercom call. One causes the called telephone
to ring (tone-first). The other causes your voice to sound out at the called telephone
(voice-first). Your installer can set the system to deliver either tone-first or
voice-first calling.
NOTE:
The following instructions assume a tone-first setting. You can change
a call to voice announce signaling for that call simply by pressing the
INTERCOM
button again after dialing the extension number or by pressing the
DSS/BLF
button again.

To manually cause the other telephone to
ring (tone calling),
1. PRESS
INTERCOM
.
2. DIAL extension number (called telephone will
ring).

To tone call automatically,
1. PRESS
DSS/BLF
button (called telephone will ring).
NOTE:
The following instructions assume a voice-first default setting. Any
user can change a call to a tone signaling for that call simply by pressing the
INTERCOM
button again after dialing the extension number or by pressing the
DSS/BLF
button again.
