* Prepare the parts removed in “Converting to Group 2 and Group 3
mode”.

Pass the baby belt through the waist belt slots in the seat surface as
illustrated, making sure that the insert tongue is oriented correctly.

Attach the attachment metal to the baby belt.

Fit the attachment metal into the recesses of the seat surface.

Perform this procedure for both the left and right baby belts.
Remove the seat cover and seat urethane from the seat surface.

● Make sure that the attachment metal is attached
correctly to the baby belt.
● Fit the attachment metal firmly into the recesses of
the seat surface and pull on the baby belt, etc. to
check that it does not come loose.
CAUTION
WARNING
However, do not perform reclining operation
with your hand inserted into the gap. This may
pinch your fingers, possibly resulting in injury.
If the baby belt is difficult
to pass through the slots,
insert your hand via the
gap in the side of the main
body and hold the baby
belt from the back of the
waist belt slots for easier
baby belt passage.
