Storage Of Lower Anchorage Belt And Lower Anchor Connectors:
To store the LATCH lower anchor belt
and connectors, swing the recline
adjustment foot down by adjusting it to
the maximum downward position and
then pressing the release catch

Place LATCH lower anchor belt with
connectors into storage compartment
in top of recline adjustment foot.

12h. Securing Base with Vehicle Seat Belt:
Refer to vehicle owner’s manual to identify the seating locations which
can be used with a car seat. Check for specific instructions or limitations
for car seat use.
After selecting a seating location, if vehicle seat back
is adjustable, adjust vehicle seat back into most
upright position or position speicifed in the vehicle
owner’s manual.
Remove car seat from base.
Store LATCH Lower Anchor Belt in LATCH storage
compartment. See page 53.
Place base rear-facing on vehicle seat with recline
adjustment foot against vehicle seat back
(fig. a)

• Not all vehicle seat belts can be used with a car seat. Read
vehicle owner’s manual and “Vehicle Seat Belts” section
in this manual.
