2. From front of car seat, thread
harness straps through harness
strap covers and then through
shoulder harness slots in seat pad
and seat back.
Make sure harness straps are not
twisted and are threaded through
matching slot of seat pad and
seat back.
To reattach harness:
1. From back of car seat, attach
harness adjustment loops to
metal harness plate
(fig. d)

Check that loops are completely
in slots of metal harness plate and
under tabs on both sides

• Secure both shoulder harness straps completely inside
slots of metal harness plate as shown.

14c. Carry Handle Operation:
• Prevent serious neck injury or death from ejection. Top of
headrest must be at least 1 inch (25 mm) above top of
infant’s head at all times when installed in a vehicle.
• DO NOT lift or carry car seat by anti-rebound bar.
WARNING
- DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur
Carry handle has three positions (fig. a):
A. Vehicle use position and carrying position
NOTE:
- Carry handle MUST be in carry position
when used in a vehicle.
- Carry handle cannot be moved over top
of seat back when headrest is in top two
adjustment positions.
