Removing Combined Main Board.
As the Combined Main Board is the only board that controls all
operations on the scanner, most of the problems will be fixed by changing
this board. Colortrac does not offer diagnostic support for any of the
boards and will only replace boards to repair the SmartLF scanners.
1.
Open rear access panel as described in chapter 5.3 page 9.
2.
Disconnect CIS ribbon cables by first, carefully, releasing the
locking slide and then sliding the cable out from the connector and
out through the ferrite held on the panel. Repeat this to all 5 ribbon
cables.
3.
Disconnect the power Cable PSU DC O/P from PSU, motor cable
and display board ribbon cable from the Combined Main Board.
