Make sure that the left pocket
(y)
of the
cover has the same “height” of the right
pocket
(x)
,
i.e. that the book is perfectly
aligned on the bottom with the cover.
Once you have inserted the part of the
cover to be trimmed into the slot
(e)
(between the welding bar and the work
surface of the unit)
and you have confirmed
the correct alignment
,
carry out a first trim
(on the long side)
and
start the welding
cycle by pressing the cycle start push-
button (
f
) or pedal (
g
).
The LCD display will show the sequence of
the operation the machine is automatically
carrying out.

Remove the book/cover from the welding
bar.

Do not pull the book cover towards you
but remove them from the welding zone by
sliding the fingers from the inner side to
the outer side in order to properly detach
the cover. This allows you to obtain a
clean separation of the cover from the
welding bar and avoids plastic gloss
appearing on the welding of the cover.
