Risks of injury
■
Keep children and animals away from the device and packaging
material. There is a danger of injury and suffocation!
■
This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well as
persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities or
those lacking experience and / or knowledge if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in how to safely use the device
and have understood the risks associated with operating the de-
vice. Children may not play with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be performed by children.

Only use and store the device out of the reach of children. The
mains cord may also not be accessible for children. They could
pull the device down with it.

ATTENTION Scalding hazard! Hot steam is produced when in
use. Therefore, do not open the water tank cover when in use.

ATTENTION Scalding hazard! When in use, keep your face,
head and hands away from the water tank cover. Hot steam es-
capes from the water tank.

ATTENTION Scalding hazard! Do not add any water to the cof-
fee maker once it has been turned on. You could scald yourself
– in the worst case – due to the sudden emission of steam.

ATTENTION Burn hazard! Parts of the device become very hot
during use. Avoid coming into contact with hot parts of the device
.

The freshly brewed coffee is hot; be careful when handling hot
liquids.

■
Only connect the device to a properly installed socket with pro-
tective earth contacts. The socket must also be easily accessib-
le after connecting so that the mains connection can be quickly
disconnected. The mains voltage must correspond to the techni-
cal data of the device. Only use proper extension cords, whose
technical data correspond to those of the device.
