2. THIRTEEN PIN HARNESS, CONTINUED
Selectable Parking Brake/External Start Input (for optional Turbo Timer / External Remote Start feature)
(-) (GRAY/RED)
This wire is selectable between Turbo Timer Mode or External Start trigger.
Parking Brake Verification: This wire registers ground when the parking brake is engaged.
Connect the GRAY/RED wire to the parking brake wire for Turbo Timer mode. For External Start,
momentarily supplying this wire with a ground signal will activate the remote start sequence.
Optional Rear Defrost Output (-) 300mA (ORANGE/RED)
Locate the vehicle’s rear window defrost wire.
Verification: This wire will register either positive voltage or ground when the rear defroster is turned on.
Connect the ORANGE/RED wire to the vehicle defrost wire if the system
is negative.
If the system is positive, connect the ORANGE/RED wire as shown in the diagram below. Use Code Alarm
part HDRLY (an SPDT relay, not included).
Trunk Release Output (-) 300mA (RED/WHITE)
Locate the vehicle’s trunk release wire at the trunk release switch.
Verification: This wire will register either positive voltage or ground when the trunk release is activated.
Connect the RED/WHITE wire to the vehicle’s trunk release wire if the system is negative
If the system is positive, connect the RED/WHITE wire as shown in the diagram below. Use Code Alarm
part HDRLY (an SPDT relay, not included).
