to the top row, including
the CALL area—16
digits.)

Check the channel
is free from
traffic, then press
Call
Selective
The Tx indicator lights
and you will hear a
warbling sound for
approximately 10
seconds as the
Radiophone sends your
call.
If the call is received
successfully by the IPC-
500 you will here a
revertive tone, then there
will be a pause while the
number is being dialled.
Once the number has
been dialled by the IPC-
500, you will hear the
appropriate telephone
network service tones.
