Hot Food Box Operation and Care
6. Place excess wire from 12-volt power cord (5) between the hot food box and the vehicle storage cabinet
(Figure 48) .
7. Place the pre-cooked, wrapped products in the hot food box. See following CAUTION and NOTE.
CAUTION
• The 12-volt accessory plug operates only when the vehicle’s key switch is in the ON position or while
the engine is running. Prolong operation of the hot food box while the vehicle’s key switch is in the
ON position could drain the vehicle’s battery.
NOTE: Do not leave the lid open any longer than it takes to remove the product from the box. The heat will escape
rapidly and the heat recovery time will be greater.
CLEANING
Daily cleaning will help extend the life of the hot food box. Use a mild soap and water solution with a sponge or cloth
while the unit is still warm.

CAUTION
• Do not clean the unit when it is hot.
• Do not use steel wool to clean the unit.
• Do not submerge the unit in water.
• Do not steam clean or use a water hose.
