3. Position the front edge of the rear upper cabinet so that the track strips on both levels of the base assembly
interlock with the cabinet track strips, then slide the cabinet up next to the front cabinet.
4. Locate the two side plates and use sixteen #8-32 x 1/2-inch truss-head machine screws. Assemble both side
plates to the upper cabinets, connecting the two cabinets together. Tighten to 3 in-lb (0.339 N·m).

5. Attach the bottom edges of both upper cabinets to both levels of the base assembly using twelve (six each
side) 1/4-20 x 3/4-inch truss-head machine screws (3) into the threaded inserts of the track strips on the base
assembly. Do not tighten.
6. Tighten the hardware on the front of the cabinet, previously installed in step 2, to 50 in·lb (5.6 N·m) (Figure
38) . See following CAUTION.
7. Tighten the twelve bottom edge bolts (3) of the upper cabinets to 50 in-lb (5.6 N·m). See following CAUTION.
8. Install the ice compartment door clips (5). Slide the clip in between the upper cabinet and base unit as shown.
Attach the clips using 10-24 x 5/8-inch truss-head machine screws (6), one each side of the cabinet.
