Periodic Service Schedules
PERIODIC SERVICE SCHEDULES
WARNING
• Service, repairs, and adjustments must be made per instructions in the appropriate maintenance
and service manual.
• If any problems are found during scheduled inspection or service, do not operate vehicle until repairs
are made. Failure to make necessary repairs could result in fire, property damage, severe personal
injury, or death.
NOTE: If the vehicle is constantly subjected to heavy use or severe operating conditions, these preventive
maintenance procedures should be performed more often than recommended in the Periodic Service and
Lubrication Schedules.
Both the Periodic Service Schedule and Periodic Lubrication Schedule must be followed to keep vehicle in
optimum operating condition.

Pre-Operation and Daily Safety Checklist

Performance Inspection See Performance Inspection on page 22.
Tires
Check air pressure and adjust as necessary to
recommended pressure.
Daily service by owner
Water drains and valves
Open all valves and flush lines with normal
water pressure.
Engine
Check engine oil level; add if necessary. See
Engine Oil Level Check on page 41.
Daily service by owner or trained technician
Brakes
Check brake fluid; add if necessary. Check
brake pedal for proper operation. See
Performance Inspection on page 22.
Engine
Check engine circulating air passage; visually
inspect unshrouded area around engine
exhaust for grass and debris and clean if
necessary.
Transmission and differentials
Check lubricant levels. Add if necessary. See
Lubrication Level Check for Transmission
and Rear Differential on page 45.
General vehicle
Wash engine compartment and underside of
vehicle. Do not wash engine when hot.
Water drains and valves Clean and sanitize lines and compartments
Monthly service by owner or trained
technician
Door locks
Lubricate with a dry lubricant
