Tips
There may be many reasons for a crispy cone
not turning out right. The following section
provides some tips for successful crispy cones.
Certain batter consistencies (e.g. batter
containing too many nuts, fruits, fruit acids, etc.)
can hinder the effectiveness of the non-stick
coating. In that case, reduce the amount of such
ingredients.
Use only premium quality flour.
Make sure to have all ingredients at the same
temperature and mix the batter until it is
smooth.
Use melted butter that is lukewarm.
For “crunchy” crispy cones, do not use milk. Milk
will make the crispy cones soft.
Some more advice: You can wait 5-10 seconds
after the green light turns on before extracting
the cones. This way, the crispy cones will obtain
an evenly brown.
You can store crispy cones for several weeks
without a problem provided you keep them in
a tightly sealed container or pot.
