When designing and manufacturing the channels, consider
LOAD LOSSES, AIR FLOW AND SPEED that must be
consistent with the unit features.
Load losses higher than the unit useful prevalence, lead to
reduction in flow rate, with consequent unit blocks.
Provide for the use of thermally insulated ducts.
Avoid that the air flow goes into contact with people, windows
(1-D), doors, plants, obstacles in general.
Avoid that obstacles or barriers prevent the air flow to the unit
coil.
•
the weight of the channels must not burden on the
connection flanges
•
place anti-vibration joints between channels and unit
•
connection to the flanges and between the various
sections of the channels must guarantee air seal, avoiding
dispersions penalising the overall efficiency of the system
•
limit the load losses by optimising the path, the type and
number of bends and junctions
Provide :
•
condensate discharge (
1-A
)
•
safe altitude to avoid seepage of water (
1-B
)
•
small animals antisneaking grille (
1-C, 3-B
)
Avoid (
2
):
•
curved corner and narrowings
•
installations next to bedrooms.
In winter, the exhaust air from the unit reaches temperatures
below 0 ° C, with outside temperature of +10 ° C.
Maintain safe distances to avoid formation of frost on rain
water drains (
3-A
) and pedestrian walkways (
4
).
In case of installations with supply and return on the same
side provide for devices (
5-A
) to avoid the by-pass between
the two air flows.
