UCC: Important Information
CAMERA MENU > PTZ
• For UCC to function, the SDI Output from the camera must be set to EX-SDI 2.0 & the DVR must be EX-SDI
2.0/UCC compatible (not all DVRs support UCC).
• The ID & Baudrate must match on Camera and DVR. The default UCC settings for Clinton cameras is ID:
1 and Baudrate: 9600. To change the ID & Baudrate of the camera: Enter the camera’s OSD menu– then
access the SERIAL Menu and scroll to CAM ID and/or BAUDRATE to set the desired settings.
• Depending on the DVR, there may be an option for UCC Type (A/B). For most newer 2MP/4MP cameras ,
select Type A.
Adjust the settings on this page to control PTZ and/or UCC cameras through the DVR. UCC allows camera
OSD adjustments and zoom/focus adjustments to be made remotely through DVR.
PORT:
Set the Baud Rate, Data Bit, Parity & Stop Bit parameters for the attached PTZ camera. Refer to the
PTZ camera’s manual for PORT settings and instructions on connecting to the RS-485 port.
ID:
Select an ID number for the associated PTZ camera.
TYPE:
Select the PTZ type from a list of common PTZ protocols.
