Hard Disk Drive
The internal hard disk drive is used to store your data. See page
6 - 4
for in-
formation on upgrading/replacing your hard disk drive.
Wireless LAN (Network) & Bluetooth Modules
The antenna(e) and other components of the optional Intel PRO/Wireless
2100 (802.11b) OR 2200BG (802.11b/g) Mini PCI WLAN module, and the
optional Bluetooth module are not externally visible (please check with your
service representative). If your configuration includes the module(s), make
sure you install the driver for it (see
7 - 2 & 7 - 11 for more information).

module) may be en-
abled and disabled by
pressing the button at
the front of the comput-
er (see
“Module ON/
OFF Button” on
page 1 - 12
).
Drive Warning
Don’t try to remove the hard disk (HDD) while the system is on. This could cause
data loss or damage. Unauthorized removal or tampering with the HDD may violate
your warranty. If you are in doubt, consult your service representative.
