5.3 MAINTENANCE OF SUCTION MOTOR
The suction motor must be efficient and cleaned. Every six months check the brushes and if necessary
replace them . Maintenance of suction motor needs the following operations :
eeeping away the key from the dashboard release the motor hooks and disconnect the plug.
epty the recovery tank.
lifting up the recovery tank (detail 1picture 5.1)
unscrew the screws holding the cover to the tank (detail 2 picture 5.1)
unscrew the knobs that secure the suction motor to the recovery tank (detail 3 picture 5.2)
check the suction rotor from the front opening of the motor.
To reassemble do the opposite way.
