Recording Quality
– Select the quality of the video recordings made on
Collaborate Room:
For SD:
Low
– Record at image resolution of 352x288 pixels (CIF).
High
– Record at image resolution of 672
384 pixels (4CIF).
For HD/FHD/PHD:
Low – Record at image resolution of 672
384 pixels (4CIF).
High
– Record at image resolution of 1280
720 pixels (720p).

MCU SETTINGS
The embedded MCU (optional feature) enables connecting up to 9 endpoints
simultaneously from various locations. This MCU capability includes the host system and an
additional 8 endpoints, one of which can be connected through ISDN.
NOTE: Before using this functionality, please verify the licensing
capabilities of your system. Go to the license page:
Menu>Settings>General>License, and verify that the option
“MCU” is selected (
√
).
To configure the MCU settings:
1.
Select
Settings>MCU
. The MCU Settings window appears.

In the MCU window, set the following options and parameters:
Layout
– Set the default layout for a multipoint call:
Auto
– The system will change the layout automatically according to the
following principle: for up to 4 participants, the 2
2 layout is used; for 5 or 6
participants, the 5+1 layout is used; for 7 and up to 9 participants, the 3

layout is used.
VS
(voice switched) – The video stream of the dominant speaker is shown. The
current dominant speaker sees the previous dominant speaker.
