When you pull it out of the plug socket, always pull on the mains adapter and never
the mains cable! Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■
Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wrap the mains cable around
the device or the mains adapter.
■
The device should only be used if it has been fully and correctly assembled!
The
dust container, the
fi
lter holder and the
fi
lters must be inserted and must not be
damaged!
If the dirt were to get inside the motor unit, this could damage the motor.
■
Protect the device from heat, naked
fl
ames, extreme temperatures, persistent mois-
ture, wet conditions and collisions.
■
Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there
is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible
damage. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
■
Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the device or accessories.

Remove a dead battery from the device immediately. Clean the contacts before a
new battery is inserted.

The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a

re, immersed in liquids or
short-circuited.
Before Initial Use
• Remove
any
possible

lms, stickers or transport protection from the device.
Never
remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
• Charge up the battery (

• Attach the wall bracket (

Charging Up the Battery

It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you
fi
rst use the de-
vice in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity.
If the battery is fully
discharged during use, it must be fully charged up again before it is next used.
■
Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts are clean and clean them if
necessary.
• First plug the barrel connector of the mains adapter (

) and then connect the mains adapter to a plug socket. The

• If the operating lamp is permanently lit, the battery is fully charged.
• First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then disconnect the
barrel connector from the motor unit.
