d) Check that the camera is not positioned beyond its range which is approx.
25m unobstructed. Obstacles between the transmitter (camera) and receiver
(screen) reduce the range considerably.
NB! A poor quality image on the screen (stripes, small picture, grainy picture etc.)
shows that the batteries are bad or that the distance between camera and screen
is too great.
. Maintenance
• Avoid touching the camera lens as finger prints and dirt can result in poor
picture quality.
• Do not move the antennae unnecessarily.
• Blow dust off the lens or clean it with a soft dry cloth.
• Never use strong cleaning agents or solvents to clean the camera and screen
– only use a slightly moist cloth with a mild detergent for external cleaning (not
the lenses).
• Keep the product as dry and free from dust as possible.
• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or other strong heat sources as
the life expectancy of certain electronic components can be reduced this way.
• Avoid significant differences in temperature as condensation can form which
affects electronics.
• Do not expose the product to vibrations or knocks.
• The product must not be altered, disassembled or used for any other purpose
than for that which it is intended. The warranty ceases to be valid if the
product is disassembled!
• Only use the mains adaptors supplied.
