• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and
should only be carried out by the manufacturer, qualified service facility or qualified technician.
• The product is only intended for normal domestic use as described in this instruction manual and in
similar environments such as canteens, offices, and hotels.
Before initial use
1. Wipe the exterior of the barbecue clean using a moist cloth.
2. Wash the cooking grates, either by hand or in a dishwasher.
3. Make sure that the cooking grates are completely dry before refitting them.
4. Plug the barbecue into an electrical outlet and turn the temperature control knob to 200 °C.
The blue indicator light will come on.
5. Wait until the cooking grates have reached the correct temperature (the blue light will go out).
Wait approximately another 8–12 minutes for any smoke to dissipate which is caused by residue
from the manufacturing process being burnt off.
6. Unplug the barbecue from the electrical outlet and let it cool completely.
7. Turn the cooking grates over and repeat steps 4–6 above.
8. Both sides of the cooking grates are now ready for use.
Instructions for use
• Wear oven gloves and only touch the black part of the handle to avoid burns.

use the product in the rain or in wet conditions.
• Make sure that the barbecue is placed on a firm fireproof surface capable of supporting its weight.
• Make sure that barbecue is situated in a well-ventilated place away from combustible materials and
surfaces.
Never use the barbecue to cook frozen food. All food must be thawed before it is cooked.
1. Plug the barbecue into an electrical outlet and turn the temperature control knob. The blue indicator
light will come on and the barbecue will begin heating up.
2. Lubricate the cooking grates with a little cooking oil if necessary.
3. Adjust the temperature to suit the food and open and close the lid as required.
4. After cooking: switch the barbecue off by turning the temperature control knob all the way
anticlockwise and then unplug the barbecue.
5. Let the barbecue cool completely before moving it or cleaning it.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug the lead from the wall socket and let the barbecue cool down completely before
cleaning it.
• Wipe the exterior of the barbecue clean using a moist cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Remove the cooking grates and wash them either by hand or in a dishwasher.
• Empty the drip tray and wash it by hand or in a dishwasher. Make sure to dry it carefully using a soft
dry cloth or lint-free kitchen roll.
• Make sure that the cooking grates are completely dry before refitting them and then coat them lightly with
cooking oil.
• Store the barbecue in a dry, dust-free environment out of children’s reach whenever it is not to be
used for a long time.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with general household
waste. This applies throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent any harm to the environment
or health hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal, the product must be handed in for
recycling so that the material can be disposed of in a responsible manner. When recycling your
product, take it to your local collection facility or contact the place of purchase. They will ensure
that the product is disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
