Using the Drive Eye
3. Start the engine.
4. After a few seconds you will hear a “beep beep” sound and the
blue LED lamp will start flashing or light up.
5. It is successfully activated.
REFERENCE
What is indicated by the LED lamps ?
The Blue LED Lamp shows normal operation of the Drive Eye.
Red LED Lamp
IMPORTANT
Please check every time if the CF Card is in the Drive Eye before driving. If the
CF Card is not in the Drive Eye, it can’t record the image in case of a car
accident.
Lit up
Normal operation. (When the CF Card is in Drive Eye.)
Flashing Every
2 Seconds
Normal operation.(When the CF Card isn’t in Drive Eye.)
Short Flashes
Recording on to CF Card.
Lit up
Error occurred.
• CF Card is not inserted.
• Error occurred on start up.
• The camera is damaged. Other.
Flashing
CF Card is full. Even if the CF Card is full, the Drive Eye overwrites
automatically, ignore this error except when you’ve had an
accident. The light is off when you delete the data in the Card.

If you’ve had an accident, please read the data in the Card
immediately on your computer. Otherwise the data will be
overwritten and lost. (Refer on Page 38)
