All random play
Play all tracks within a selected category, in
random order. (Corresponds to “Sh
u ffle
(Songs)” command on iPod.)
1. Press and hold the [ RDM ] bu tton (1 sec.).
●
To cancel play
1. Press the same play bu tton once again.
Notes:
• When the repeat play mode is canceled, after
play all tracks within a selected category,
playback will begin from the first track in the
selected category.
• When playing the last track within a selected
category in Random mode, if ACC is switched off
then on again, playback will begin from a
different track.
• Though the default setting of an iPod is “ All
Repeat ”, the indication on the mode status is not
displayed.
• When performing operations using simple control
mode, do not set the repeat off on the iPod.
S electing category from the iPod
menu
1. Press the [ BND ] bu tton (1 sec.) to select the
iPod men u mode.
The iPod men u categories will b e displayed.
Notes:
• Repeat and Random mode operations are not
supported when in the iPod menu mode.
• In iPod menu mode, if you press the [
x
]/[
v
]
or [
w
] / [
z
] button fast, playback may not be
performed.
2. Press the [
w
] or [
z
] bu tton to switch
b etween categories.
The iPod men u categories alternate in the
following order:
“ PLAYLISTS ”
↔
“ ARTISTS ”
↔
“ ALBUMS ”
↔
“ SONGS ”
↔
“ GENRES ”
↔
“ COMPOSERS ”...
Note:
The iPod menu mode can be canceled by
performing one of the following operations:
• Press the [
BND ] button.
• When the category select screen is displayed,
press the [
v
] button.
3. Press the [
v
] bu tton to select the category.
4. W hen the track name display is showing,
press the [
v
] bu tton.
Play b ack will b egin from the first track in the
selected category, and the iPod men u mode
will b e canceled.

] bu ttons to select a
track within a category.
iPod menu alphabet search
This f u nction searches the s ub folders for
desired alpha b etical letters.
1. Press the [ BND ] bu tton to select the iPod
men u mode.
2. Press the [
w
] or [
z
] bu tton to switch
b etween categories.
3. Press the [
v
] bu tton.

4. Press and hold the [ DISP ] bu tton (1 sec.).

desired letter to search.
6. Press the [ DISP ] bu tton to perform search.

S electing category using preset
memory
1. Press and hold the [ BND ] bu tton (1 sec.) to
select the iPod men u mode.
The category can b e set as follows in the
[ DIRECT ] (1-6) bu ttons.
[1] : PLAYLISTS
[2] : ARTISTS
[3] : ALBUMS
[4] : SONGS
[5] : GENRES
[6] : COMPOSERS
2. Press the desired [ DIRECT ] (1-6) bu tton to
select the category.
