CX609
Tuning mode
There are two channel selection modes: qu ick
t u ning mode and step t u ning mode.
Quick tuning
1. Press and hold the [
x
] or [
v
] bu tton for
1 second or longer.
2. Press the [ ] bu tton to switch to another
channel.
Step tuning
1. Press the [
x
] or [
v
] bu tton.
2. Press the [ ] bu tton to switch to another
channel.
Recalling a preset station
A total of 18 satellite radio stations can b e
stored.
6-XM1, 6-XM2 and 6-XM3
This allows yo u to store yo u r fa v orite satellite
radio stations in memory for later recall.
1. Press the [ BND ] bu tton to select the desired
b and.
2. Press the [
w
] / [
z
] bu tton or [ DIRECT ]
bu tton to select the desired preset station.
Preset memory
1. Press the [ BND ] bu tton to select the desired
b and.
2. Select the desired channel with qu ick t u ning
or step t u ning.
3. Press and hold the [ DIRECT ] bu tton for
2 seconds or longer to store the c u rrent
channel into preset memory.
Receiving stations selected by
category
Satellite Radio allows yo u to select b roadcast
channel category (contents).
1. Press and hold the [ BND ] bu tton for
1 second or longer to select the category
selection mode.

If press and hold the bu tton for 1 second or
longer once again, ret u rn to the channel
selection mode.
2. Press the [
w
] or [
z
] bu tton to change the
category item and press the [ ] bu tton to
switch to another categoty.
3. Press the [
x
] or [
v
] bu tton to t u ne in a
station and press the [ ] bu tton to switch to
another channel.
Note:
• When the category selection mode is entered,
the category of the last received channel is
displayed first.
• The category selection mode is canceled when
no channel with the selected category can be
found.
• If no operation is performed whithin 15 seconds,
the category selection mode is canceled, and
resumes to the channel mode.
• Press and hold the [ DIRECT ] button for 2
seconds or longer to store the current station into
preset channel memory.
• If you press the [
w
] / [
z
] button or [ DIRECT ]
button in the category mode, can recall the
preset channel station.
S can function
There are two scan modes: the category scan
mode and the preset scan mode.
D u ring scanning channels are displayed in
a bb re v iated form, the display mode cannot b e
switched.
Preset scan (PRESET SCN)
A preset scan scans the channels ( u p to 18
channels) stored in the preset memory a b o u t
e v ery 10 seconds.
1. Press and hold the [ ] bu tton for 1 second
or longer to select the preset scan mode.
And start the preset scanning.
Category scan (CAT SCN)
In a category scan, b roadcast channels in the
same category as the c u rrent channel are
selected a b o u t e v ery 10 seconds.
1. Press and hold the [ BND ] bu tton for 1
second or longer to select the category
mode.
2. Press and hold the [ ] bu tton for 1 second
or longer to select the category scan mode.
And start the category scanning.
Note:
Category scanning is not available when no
category is defined for the current channel.
