The cage roller reduce the clods and facilitates the job of other equipments, leaving
the soil pre-leveled.
The cage roller is an optional part to reduce the clods and to leave the soil pre-leveled.
To couple it to the plow, proceed as follows:
Couple the fixation supports (A) to the rear tube of the frame without totally tightening
it using fixation plates (B), bolt, spring washers and nuts.
Place the bushing (C) to the bars (D) and fasten to the fixation supports (A) using bolts,
spring washers and nuts. Also fasten the springs (E) using a bolt (F), spring and flat washer.
Then, couple the cage roller (G) to the bars (D) using bolts (H), spring washers and nuts.
Tighten the whole set.
The distance between a fixation support and another is determined by the
working width of the plow.
The spring must be adjusted in a way that the pressure will be evenly
distributed in the whole cage roller extension. The pressure must be adjusted
in a way that the equipment will not be hang, as it may cause alterations on
the subsoiling uniformity.
An excessive tightening on the nuts that adjust the pressure may cause
damages to the arm support.
