LEDs
LEDs on your Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch and installed modules and cards indicate hardware status.
LED indicators exist on the following modules and cards:

IB switch card
•
Fibre Channel gateway card
•
Ethernet gateway card
•
AC power-fan module
The LEDs have special significance depending upon the chassis component. For more details about the
LEDs, see
Chapter 5, “Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch LEDs.”
Rail Kit for Rack Mounting
A rail kit for rack mounting the Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch ships with the chassis. It is optional to
use this rail kit. The rail kit contains two adjustable brackets for the data connection end of the server
switch and two fixed brackets (also called rack ear brackets) for the power supply end of the server
switch.
