Powering Off a DC Powered Router
Powering Off a DC Powered Router
To power off a DC-powered router:
Step 1
Turn off the DC PEM power switch for each DC PEM installed (
).
Step 2
Turn off all circuit breakers for DC source power.
Step 3
Attach an ESD-preventive strap to your wrist or ankle; and attach the ESD clip to
the chassis or to a bare metal surface.
Step 4
Verify that the green DC PEM Input OK, Output OK, and amber Output Fail
LEDs are all off.
Step 5
Visually check that the fan tray assembly fans are all off.
Step 6
Visually check that the DC PEM fans are all off.
