Cisco TelePresence Presentation Codec
Configuring the DMP Audio for Use with the CTS 500
When you are not in a TelePresence call, the DMP feature allows you to use the DMP audio as the
secondary audio input source. To configure the DMP audio, complete the following steps:
Step 1
Navigate to
Troubleshooting > Hardware Setup > Other Devices
.
Step 2
Click the
DMP
tab.
Step 3
Click the
Start
button.
Step 4
Select one of the following radio buttons:

Select the DMP radio button if you want the audio to play only during the following times:
–
When the system is not in a conference
–
During normal business hours
You define normal business hours with the Display on Time and Display on Duration fields in
Cisco Unified Communications Manager. For more information about configuring normal
business hours for your CTS 1100, refer to the

Select the PC radio button if you want the audio to play at all times that the DMP source is active,
including during a conference and during non-business hours.
Select this option if you want to share audio from the DMP source during a conference.
Step 5
To end DMP audio configuration, click
Stop
.
The CTS 500 retains the setting that you specify in this procedure.

Cisco TelePresence Presentation Codec
The Cisco TelePresence Presentation Codec (CTS-HFR-COLLAB) provides 30 frames per second (fps)
capabilities to support full-motion video presentations between Cisco TelePresence endpoints when
used with an auxiliary presentation display.
Note
You must install an auxiliary display to enable the 30 fps feature. For the list of the auxiliary displays
that are supported for use with Cisco TelePresence systems, refer to the
for your software release. Note that Cisco does not supply the cable that
connects auxiliary devices to the codec.
