CFGMGR Messages

Error Message   

CFGMGR-4-MEMBER_WRITING_STARTUP_CFG: only master can do that. 

Note

This message applies only to the Catalyst Switch Module 3110.

Explanation   

A stack member switch attempted to write to the startup configuration file; only the 

stack master can write to the startup configuration file.

Recommended Action   

No action is required. 

Error Message   

CFGMGR-5-UNABLE_TO_USE_PROVISIONED_CFG: Switch [dec] will receive the 

default configuration.

Note

This message applies only to the Catalyst Switch Module 3110.

Explanation   

The switch type of the specified switch does not match the provisioned configuration 

for its switch number; therefore, the default configuration is applied to this switch. [dec] is the stack 
member number.

Recommended Action   

No action is required.

Error Message   

CFGMGR-6-APPLYING_RUNNING_CFG: as new master.
