2.3 Temperature Class
– Flammable gases and vapors are divided into temperature classes for their
flammability on hot surfaces. Surface temperature of pump must always be less than lowest ignition
temperature in the temperature class.

The maximum surface temperature depends on operating conditions. Refer to the Declaration
of Conformity for T code and Maximum Fluid Temperature indicated.
Special Use Condition
– In certain pumps with mechanical seals the maximum permissible
medium temperature must not be exceeded. Refer to the Declaration of Conformity for the
maximum permissible medium temperature.

2.5 Ambient Temperature:
Special Use Conditions-
The pumps conform to the ambient temperature service range specified by the application
parameters provided by the customer. Please refer to the Declaration of Conformity for the
ambient temperature range. If no range is provided, the normal ambient temperature of
