3.7.2.Configuration Software
The set up procedure for the IB-ETH-CONF follows.
Before starting the IB-ETH-configurator program, ensure that the PC to be used has a correct IP
address for the network to which it is to be connected.
3.7.2.1.Search Devices
After launching the program click on the
search devices
button, which automatically identifies all
of the IB-ETH interfaces connected to the network and visible to this PC. If the list is not complete
check the connections of the interfaces to the network and if necessary the presence of the
network infrastructure (router, firewall, proxy, etc.) that may block the data packets used for
programming the system (contact the Network Administrator).
For each device detected the following will be displayed: IP address assigned, the MAC address
of the device, the data port used, the identification name of the device and the name of the
owner.
