IB-SYSTEM-R
3.1 Power supply connection
The IB-System-R requires a 13.8V DC power supply. Connect the power supply unit to the
connector POW1 as shown in the table.

Mains power fault signal (yellow).

Power ground (black).

Power 13.8 VDC (red).
The power supply employed gives an output voltage of 13.8 Vdc and a maximum current of 3A
and is capable of charging a backup battery of with a maximum capacity of 36 Ah, It also
provides a power loss signal or fault signal.
The figure below shows the connections to the power supply.

The connection to the power supply (230V~), must use a circuit breaker having the following
characteristics:
bipolar with minimum distance between contacts equal to 3 mm
as part of the fixed cabling
easily accessible
However laws and standards concerning installation of devices permanently
connected to the power supply (230V~), must be strictly adhered to. (in Italy Law
46/90 and standard DEI 64-8).
