Note: Refer to the first start-up procedure of the inverter after the maintenance.
8.5 Grid-tied power generation
The grid-tied power generation process of CPS SCH1500K inverter is automatic. It will check
automatically whether the AC power grid meets the grid-tied power generation conditions. At the
same time, it will also check whether the output energy from PV panels is sufficient. The system
can enter the grid-tied power generation mode when all the conditions are met. During the
grid-tied power generation process, the inverter will maximize the output power by the PV panels
in the way of MPPT (Maximum power point tracking). Meanwhile, the inverter will check the
power grid all the time. It will enter protection sequence in the event of abnormal condition. When
sunlight is weak and power generation is insufficient, the inverter will enter the standby mode.
The CPS SCH1500K adopts advanced digital control to realize high efficiency and high reliability
of the inverter. When sunlight is very weak the inverter is disconnected from the power grid until
the voltage of the PV array is stably higher than start-up voltage.
8.6 Fault shutdown
When the PV power generation system fails, such as output short circuit, grid
overvoltage/undervoltage, grid overfrequency/underfrequency, high environmental temperature or
internal failure of the inverter, the CPS SCH1500K inverter will probably stop working. At this
time, the DC circuit breaker will not be turned off, and the unit will restart automatically (the
system has no permanent failure at this moment); if the inverter is in a fault mode, the fault cannot
INSTRUCTION:
The command of de-energy will be ineffective if the inverter is being energized. Wait
and execute the command until the process of de-energy is completed.
INSTRUCTION:
If software needs to be updated, AC and DC circuit breakers must be turned off and the
auxiliary power mode should be switched to outside power supply.
