Sanitizing the Water Deliver System
Periodically,
depending
on
usage
and
water
quality,
you
should
sanitize
the
water
delivery
system
by
following
the
steps
below.
Sanitizing
the
Water
Tank
1.
Move
the
two
power
switches
on
the
back
of
the
Chill
Station
to
the
Off
position
and
disconnect
the
power
cord.
2.
Remove
the
water
bottle
from
the
Chill
Station.
3.
Place
both
hands
on
the
collar
of
the
water
bottle
receptacle,
rotate
it
counter
clock
‐
wise
about
one
‐
half
inch,
and
lift
the
bottle
receptacle
from
the
Chill
Station.
4.
Clean
the
bottle
receptacle
thoroughly
by
hand
using
warm
water
and
mild
soap.
5.
Plug
in
the
power
cord
and
move
the
pump
power
switch
(red)
on
the
back
of
the
Chill
Station
to
the
On
position.
6.
Place
a
container
under
the
beverage
dispensing
nozzle
and
press
the
water
dispensing
button
until
the
water
tank
is
half
empty.
7.
Move
the
pump
power
switch
(red)
on
the
back
of
the
Chill
Station
to
the
Off
position
and
disconnect
the
power
cord.
8.
Mix
½
teaspoon
of
unscented
household
bleach
with
2
quarts
of
warm
water.
[Use
warm
water
to
melt
ice
rings
in
the
water
tank.]
9.
Pour
the
sanitizing
solution
into
the
water
tank
so
that
the
level
in
the
tank
is
at
the
top
of
the
stainless
steel
part
of
the
tank.
10.
Allow
the
solution
to
sit
for
15
to
20
minutes
or
longer
to
melt
the
ice
rings
and
sanitize
the
tank.
11.
Plug
in
the
power
cord
and
move
the
pump
power
switch
(red)
on
the
back
of
the
Chill
Station
to
the
On
position.
12.
Place
a
container
under
the
dispensing
nozzle
and
press
the
water
dispensing
button
until
the
tank
is
completely
empty.
13.
Move
the
pump
power
switch
(red)
on
the
back
of
the
Chill
Station
to
the
Off
position
and
disconnect
the
power
cord.
14.
Wipe
the
inside
of
the
water
tank
dry
with
a
clean
cloth
or
paper
towels.
15.
Install
a
fresh
bottle
of
water
following
the
procedure
in
Loading
a
Bottle
of
Water
on
page
9.
