Using
and
Storing
Syrup
Cartridges
Syrup
cartridges
are
ready
to
use
and
include
a
food
‐
grade
silicon
seal
in
the
cap.
The
cap
is
self
‐
sealing,
so,
if
desired,
you
can
safely
remove
and
store
a
partially
‐
used
syrup
cartridge
for
use
at
a
later
date.
Note—Some
syrup
can
drip
from
the
seal
during
removal.
Syrup
can
stain
floors,
countertops,
clothing,
rugs,
plastics,
and
other
materials.
Clean
syrup
spills
immediately
with
warm
water
and
mild
detergent
to
avoid

Store
syrups
at
room
temperature
(50
to
70°F).
Storage
at
temperatures
outside
of
this
range
can
shorten
the
shelf
life
or
alter
the
taste
and
usability
of
the
syrup.

The
typical
mix
ratio
for
most
products
is
5
parts
water
to
1
part
syrup.
Syrup
cartridges
typically
hold
64
ounces
of
syrup.
So
a
mix
ratio
of
5
+
1
produces
about
3
gallons
of
finished
beverage
from
a
cartridge.
